MEDEX is a manufactured wood product very similar to MDF created by gluing hard and softwood fibers into panels similar to particle board. MEDEX is much more resistant to moisture. It is typically stronger and more dense than particle board. MEDEX is dimensionally very consistent and takes paint and glue very well.
